Privacy
Deduvin has no accounts and collects nothing that identifies you.
What is stored on your phone. Your settings and your finished glasses: the readings you tapped, your guess, the reveal, the points. It lives in your browser's storage, and from your first finished glass also under your code (below).
The code. When you finish your first glass, Deduvin creates a random twelve-character code and keeps a copy of your finished glasses on its server under that code, so a second device with the same code shows the same history. The code is the only key. There is no email, no name, no password, and no way for us to connect a code to a person. Anyone who has your code can see and add to that history, so treat it like a key. Reset all data in Settings deletes the server copy.
What the server sees. A count of visits per day, with no addresses and no identifiers, so we know whether anyone is playing. Deduvin itself logs no IP addresses. The hosting provider’s router keeps connection logs for a short time. There are no advertising or analytics scripts and no third-party cookies.
Cookies. One cookie, set when your code is created or when you enter a code, lets the server recognise that code on later visits. It carries nothing else.
Where. The server runs in the European Union (Heroku, EU region). Backups of the code store are kept for a short time and then deleted.
Your choices. Reset all data in Settings deletes both: the copy on your phone and the copy under your code.
